Mein Urlaub in Europa

I failed at blogging while traveling. With all the things to do when I get back I doubt I’ll try to salvage this as a travel blog and will more than likely just transition it to a more regular photo blog. So… sorry for the disappointment!

In Prague. The bridge behind me is the Charles foot bridge. We walked around for about 8 hours in the rain yesterday, our shoes and jeans soaking up water the whole way. This is shortly before we made a hike up to the castle, around the castle grounds, and into the gardens behind and to the side of the castle. Though I wish it hadn’t rained, I think all of the locations we visited were quieter and calmer than they would’ve been otherwise. The architecture and layout of the city is beautiful.

Tomorrow we make our way to Berlin where we’ll stay another 3 nights. The hostel we booked is in a forest a bit outside the city (~10km). We’ll probably rent bikes from there and ride into the city on Saturday, taking tomorrow night easy after getting into town.

I’m leaving in about 40 hours. I’ve packed everything that I think I’ll need, and then some more. A lot of what you see there will not make it with me on my 5-week trip around Europe, but is instead just for Austria. Now it’s time to eat some good American food and go over the list again!
